 　八木山バイパスでダンプカー逆走、トラックと衝突し男性を死なせた疑いで逮捕…「道を間違えＵターン」趣旨の供述

　福岡県篠栗町の八木山バイパスにて、ダンプカーと準中型トラックが正面衝突してトラックのドライバーが死亡する事故が発生しました。

　その後にダンプカーのドライバー（６９歳）が、過失運転致死で逮捕されました。

　警察の聞き取りに対して男は、走行中に道を間違えたことに気づき、Ｕターンして反対車線を逆走したと供述をしています。

A head-on collision between a dump truck and a semi-medium-duty truck occurred on the Yagiyama Bypass in Sasaguri Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, resulting in the death of the truck driver.

The driver of the dump truck (69) was subsequently arrested on suspicion of negligent driving resulting in death.

During police questioning, the man stated that he realized he had taken a wrong turn while driving, so he made a U-turn and drove against the flow of traffic in the opposite lane.

　こんな事件を知る度に、いつも思うことが有る。

　故意による道路の逆走事故で人が死んでいるのに、何故に「過失運転」とされるのだろうか？。

　特にこのドライバーは、大型車両を狭い道路にてわざわざ迂回し、逆走行為に至ったのだ。

　これは、故意による逆走犯罪そのものだ。

　道路の逆走は大きな事故になり、相手の車両に乗っている人が死亡するリスクは、ドライバーであれば誰でも容易に想像できる。

　もしかしたら相手が死ぬかもしれない行為を行った場合は、殺人だろう。

　例えば、ナイフで相手の体を差せば、死ぬかも知れないと誰でも想像できる行為であるから、殺人未遂とか殺人と判断されるのだ。

　逆走も相手をナイフで差す行為も、プロセスも結果も全く同等なのだ。

　特に、重量のあるダンプカーで逆走すれば、小型の乗用車等は簡単に潰れてしまう。

　それでも、多人数に死傷者を出す凶悪な犯罪とされない今の日本の法律は、早急に改正すべきだ。

　故意の逆走で事故を起こした場合には、殺人や殺人未遂で裁かれるとなれば、凶悪な逆走行為も減るだろう。

　そして、何処のオールド・メディアも、全く其の事は無視している。

　特に朝日新聞を筆頭に、意味のない与党批判ばかりだ。

　常に日本社会は犯罪者に甘く、被害者に優しい。

　当に、犯罪者天国だ。

　私がもし家族を殺されたら、絶対に相手は許さない。

Whenever I hear about incidents like this, the same question crosses my mind:

Why is it classified merely as "negligent driving" when a driver intentionally drives the wrong way and causes a fatality?

In this particular case, the driver went out of their way to take a detour just to enter the road against the flow of traffic.

This is a heinous crime: intentionally driving the wrong way and causing another person's death.

Any driver can easily imagine the high risk that driving the wrong way poses for causing a catastrophic accident—one that could kill the occupants of other vehicles.

Any act capable of causing death should be treated as homicide.

For instance, stabbing someone with a knife is an act where anyone can foresee the potential for a fatal outcome; consequently, the perpetrator is charged with attempted murder or murder.

In terms of the process and the outcome, driving the wrong way and stabbing someone with a knife are essentially the same.

A large dump truck driving the wrong way, in particular, can easily crush a small passenger car.

Yet, under current Japanese law, such acts are not treated as the heinous crimes they are—acts capable of killing or injuring multiple people—and urgent legal reform is required.

If accidents caused by intentional wrong-way driving were prosecuted as murder or attempted murder, such reckless behavior would likely decrease.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media completely ignores this issue.

Media outlets, including the *Asahi Shimbun*, focus almost exclusively on futile criticism of the ruling party.

Japanese society is consistently lenient toward criminals.

It is truly a paradise for offenders.

If a member of my family were killed in such a manner, I would never forgive the perpetrator.
