台湾、中国の「第2次大戦の歴史認識」に反発／Taiwan pushes back against China's "historical view of WWII"

 　米中首脳会談の際、中国側は「米国は第二次世界大戦において勝利のために『肩を並べて戦った』同盟国であった」との歴史的見解を示しましたが、これに対し台湾政府は、当時実際に米国と共に戦ったのは「中華民国」（現在の台湾政府）であったと指摘しました。

　さらに台湾側は、中国共産党政権が広めている歴史的見解は歪曲されたものであると主張しました。

　台湾は、米国政府が中国の歪曲された歴史解釈を受け入れ、それによって米国からの支援（台湾にとって最大の武器供給国である米国からの支援）が弱まるのではないかと懸念しています。

In response to China’s historical narrative—voiced during the U.S.-China summit—that the United States was a World War II ally that "fought shoulder-to-shoulder" for victory, the Taiwanese government pointed out that the entity which actually fought alongside the U.S. at that time was the "Republic of China" (the current government of Taiwan).

It further asserted that the historical narrative propagated by the Chinese Communist Party regime is distorted.

Taiwan is wary that the U.S. government might accept China's distorted historical interpretation, potentially weakening the support it receives from the United States—its largest supplier of weaponry.

　台湾の主張は正しい。

　さらに、「第二次世界大戦」後の朝鮮半島においては、韓国軍と米軍は北朝鮮の援軍として参戦した本物の「中国軍」と戦った。

　「朝鮮戦争」であるが、当時は日本軍も物資の運搬等で米軍に強力した記録が残っている。

　本当は、現在の中国軍と北朝鮮軍に対して、米軍は戦ったのだ。

　トランプ政権は、この事実を歪曲して認めた場合は、過去に中国軍と戦った米軍戦士から大きな誹りを受けるだろう。
