宇都宮市内の「カタクリの里」の現状に泣くばかり／I can only cry at the current state of "Katakuri Flower Village" in Utsunomiya City.

 　3月19日は午前中に雨が上がり、午後は晴天となりました。

　近所にある「カタクリの里」に出向いて、久しぶりに「開花状況」を見に行きました。

On March 19th, the rain stopped in the morning, and the afternoon was sunny.

We went to the nearby "Katakuri Village" to check on the blooming status for the first time in a while.

　近年はこの場所から遠ざかっていたのですが、まさかこの様な状況に成っているとは想像していませんでした。

　以前は斜面の一面に咲き誇っていました。

　現地は登るのに苦労する程の斜面ですが、

順路に従ってロープが設置され、安全に見学ができる環境だったのです。

　今回行くてみると、安全を支えるロープは朽ちてしまっており、奥には進入禁止の看板が設置されていました。

　斜面は「笹」が覆っており、とてもカタクリの花が咲ける状況では無い様に思えます。

　その笹や周りの竹林の影響で、日差しも受けられなくなったのかも知れません。

　入口には、看板であるフクロウの彫り物が今も立っていましたが、今後の長い時間には耐えられない様に思えました。

　このカタクリの斜面は、多分、個人のボランティアに依って管理されていたと思われます。

　忙しい現代人には、花を愛でる優しい心が足りなくなったのかもれません。

I had been staying away from this place in recent years, but I never imagined it would be in this state.

They used to bloom profusely all over the slope.

The area is located on a steep slope, making climbing difficult, but ropes have been installed along designated routes in the past, creating a safe environment for visitors to explore.

The slope was covered with bamboo, and to me, it didn't seem like a suitable environment for Katakuri flowers to bloom.

The bamboo and surrounding bamboo grove may have blocked out the sunlight.

The owl sculpture that serves as the sign still stands at the entrance, but it seemed unlikely to withstand the test of time.

This slope, covered in Katakuri flowers, was probably maintained by individual volunteers.

Perhaps busy modern people have lost the gentle heart to appreciate flowers.
