久々の、我が家のオーディオ

　寒がりの私は、冬には「オーディオルーム」での長時間リスニングは、いたしません。

　寒い日には暖房を入れれば良いのですが、エアコンやヒーターが放出するノイズにより、るオーディオ機器への悪影響が気になってしまうのです。

　私のオーディオ構成では、アナログ電源を搭載する装置はバッテリーの電力で駆動しています。

　つまり、家庭用電源からは切り離しています。

　しかしながら、スイッチング電源を搭載する装置は、やはり家庭用電源に接続していますので、どうしてもノイズが気になるのです。

　昨日の昼間はとても暖かかったのです。

　実は、数日前に開催された「宇都宮自作オーディオ会」で聴いたスピーカーの音質を忘れない間に、我が屋の音を聴いて比較したかったのです。

　久しぶりに聴いた我が家のメインシステムの音は、「意外といけるじゃないか！」ということでした。

　低域は流石に狭い部屋に30ｃｍユニットですから、十分以上の性能に思えました。

　中域はウッドホーン＋ドライバーなのですが、こんなものかな？という風に感じました。

　高域はホーンスピーカーですので、キレは良いのですが、フレッシュさは負けている気がしました。

　意外とおとなしい音だったんだなと、改めて感じました。

　できれば、同じ部屋で同じ音源で、聴き比べてみたいと思いました。

Since I get cold easily, I don't do long listening sessions in my "audio room" during the winter.

On cold days, I could just turn on the heating, but I'm concerned about the negative impact that the noise emitted by air conditioners and heaters might have on my audio equipment.

In my audio setup, devices with analog power supplies are powered by batteries.

These devices are isolated from the standard household power supply.

However, devices equipped with switching power supplies draw power from the household power supply, raising concerns about noise.

It was very warm yesterday afternoon.

Actually, I wanted to compare the sound quality of the speakers I heard at the "Utsunomiya DIY Audio Meeting" held a few days ago with the sound from my own system, while the memory was still fresh.

Listening to my main system at home for the first time in a while, my reaction was, "Wow, it's actually pretty good!"

The bass, as expected for a 30cm unit in a small room, seemed more than adequate.

The midrange, using a wood horn plus driver, felt about what I expected.

The treble, being a horn speaker, had good clarity, but I felt it lacked freshness.

I realized again that it actually has a surprisingly subdued sound.

Ideally, I'd like to compare them in the same room using the same audio source.
