沖縄の辺野古沖で船を転覆させ、女子高校生を死に至らしめた２隻の船の船長は、いずれも日本共産党員だった／The captains of the two boats that capsized off the coast of Henoko, Okinawa, killing a female high school student, were both members of the Japanese Communist Party.

　今年3月、沖縄県名護市の辺野古の沖合で修学旅行中だった同志社国際高校の生徒を乗せた船2隻が転覆し、17歳の女子高校生と男性船長が死亡しました。

　転覆した2隻はいずれも船舶登録がされていなかった事から国土交通省と沖縄総合事務局は海上運送法違反の疑いで死亡した船長を刑事告発する方針を固めあさってにも告発状を中城海上保安部に提出することがわかりました。

　また、もう一人の船長が死亡した船長の指示で「生徒に操船させた」などと話していることが新たにわかりました。

In March of this year, two protest vessels, the "Heiwa Maru" and the "Fukutsu," carrying students from Doshisha International High School on a school trip, capsized off the coast of Henoko, Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture. A female student and the captain of the "Fukutsu" died.

Since neither vessel was registered, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Okinawa General Affairs Bureau have announced they will file a criminal complaint against the deceased captain with the Nakagusuku Coast Guard Office on suspicion of violating the Maritime Transportation Act.

Furthermore, it has come to light that the captain of the "Heiwa Maru" stated that he "allowed the students to operate the ship" under the instructions of the captain of the "Fukutsu."

　沖縄の辺野古沖で船を転覆させた２隻のうちの「平和丸」の船長は、「諸喜田タケル」氏である。

　彼は「2022年09月」に「今帰仁村議会議員選挙」へ日本共産党所属として議員出馬していました。

There is a record that he ran for the Nakijin Village Council in September 2022 as a candidate for the Japanese Communist Party, but he appears to have been unsuccessful.

　日本共産はこれまで、この事に対して全く反省をしていませんでしたが、ネットで炎上した結果、2か月以上も後の2026年5月18日に、日本共産党 田村委員長は謝罪しました。

　日本共産党は転覆した船を運航した市民団体の構成団体で、田村委員長は17日、那覇市の演説会で謝罪しました。

　そのうえで、「最愛の娘を亡くしたご遺族の悲しみや怒りがどれほど深いか。決して忘れることなく、ご遺族への謝罪と補償が行われるよう尽力していく」と話しました。

"Putting high school students on a school trip aboard the ship was a grave mistake, and as a member of the Japan Communist Party, a constituent organization of the Anti-Helicopter Base Council, I offer my heartfelt apologies."

He added, "We will never forget how deep the grief and anger of the bereaved family who lost their beloved daughter, and we will do our utmost to ensure that an apology and compensation are made to the bereaved family."
