高市首相を巡って、自民党総裁選や衆院選での高市陣営による中傷動画の作成・拡散疑惑や暗号資産「サナエトークン」への関与が取り沙汰されてきた。
22日の予算委員会でも中道改革連合の後藤祐一議員が、中傷動画やサナエトークンへの関与を質問しました。
“週刊誌の記事などを切り抜いたものをバラバラいただきましても、これは私自身が確認して答弁することはなかなか困難でございます”と、直接の答弁はしない姿勢を貫いています」。
高市首相は、秘書が作る陳述書と証拠となる書類を提出することで答弁に変えさせてほしいとした。
高市首相の“答弁拒否”には、ネット上からも批判が噴出した一方で、「最近の国会を見ていると『予算委員会』なのか『週刊誌報道検証委員会』なのか分からなくなる」「週刊誌の憶測や偽造の可能性が高い内容の話をしようとする事自体がまず間違ってる」等の意見もある。

個人的には、今回の野党の主張は全く不当だと考えています。
特に、週刊誌の報道について政府を追及した立憲民主党の杉尾秀也議員が、「報道を否定する証拠を提示せよ」と要求した事には、憤りさえ覚えます。
そもそも、何かの疑惑が提起された場合、告発者がその主張を裏付ける証拠を提示するのが一般的です。
今回の、手続きを無視し、世論操作のみに頼る野党議員の主張には憤りを通り越して、呆れてしまいます。
今回の『文藝春秋』と言う週刊誌報道の内容には、全く具体的な証拠が欠如しており、提示された音声記録は意図的に編集されたか、あるいは捏造された可能性さえあります。
この週刊誌は、長年にわたり与党を執拗に攻撃することで販売部数を伸ばそうとしてきた雑誌であることを忘れてはなりません。
彼らの様な週刊誌は、その目的のためなら世論操作も含めて手段を選ばないのです。
もし間違っていたとしても、後の小さな囲み記事で謝罪するだけですから、相手にしないのが一番なのです。
野党は、雑誌記事から都合よく抜き出した疑わしい抜粋を口実に、重要な議会審議への参加を拒否しています。
このような行為は国会審議という国益を損なうだけでなく、議席数削減案にて、自分の議席を失うことへの恐怖からくる単なる妨害行為に過ぎません。
彼らの行動は、現在の野党が何ら意義のある役割を果たしていないのです。
今こそ、彼らは全員辞任すべきである。

I am particularly incensed by the actions of Constitutional Democratic Party lawmaker Hideya Sugio, who grilled the government regarding a weekly magazine report and demanded that they "present evidence to refute the report."
As a general rule, when an allegation is raised, it is the accuser who must present evidence to substantiate their claim.
I am beyond angry; I am simply appalled by the opposition lawmakers' arguments in this case, which disregard proper procedure and rely solely on manipulating public opinion.
The report in the weekly magazine *Bungeishunju* completely lacks concrete evidence; the audio recording presented may well have been intentionally edited or even fabricated.
We must not forget that this magazine has long sought to boost its circulation by relentlessly attacking the ruling party.
Magazines of this ilk will stop at nothing—including manipulating public opinion—to achieve their ends.
Even if they are proven wrong, they merely issue an apology in a small, inconspicuous sidebar later on; the best course of action is simply to ignore them.
Using dubious excerpts conveniently cherry-picked from the magazine article as a pretext, the opposition is refusing to participate in crucial parliamentary deliberations.
Such conduct not only harms the national interest by disrupting parliamentary proceedings but is also nothing more than obstructionism born of the fear that they might lose their own seats under the proposed reduction in the number of parliamentary seats.
Their behavior demonstrates that the current opposition is failing to play any meaningful role whatsoever.
They should all resign immediately.
