　「去年の秋にとれた令和7年産が9割残っています。今年はなかなか減って行かない」

　倉庫に積まれている、約4800トンのコメ。

　9万人が1年間で消費する量に相当しますが、実はこのほとんどが、未だに買い手のついていない令和7年産米です。

　この在庫量は、想定を上回る消費者の買い控えなどが原因だといいます。

　この業者は、5キロ4000円で仕入れたコメを、3000円で売りさばくという“最終手段”に出ている状況で、すでに億単位の損失が出ているといいます。

　「低温倉庫がない業者は、暖かくなる前に売らないといけないので、市場にはもっと安いコメが出てくるんじゃないか」だそうです。

　今後は間違いなく、米の価格が下がるでしょう。

　一昨年度は、安く仕入れた米を高値で販売し、相当に利益を上げたと思われる「コメ卸売業者」さんへ。

　今年の「大損」は仕方ないと諦めてください。
