　パナソニック コールドチェーンソリューションズ社は2025年10月1日、エアコン等の冷媒にCO2を用いたCO2冷媒冷凍機を欧州市場で積極展開する事を発表した。

　パナソニックでは2030年にノンフロン冷媒100％を目指している。

　特にフロンガス規制が厳しい欧州にこの技術は最適だ。

On October 1, 2025, Panasonic Cold Chain Solutions announced that it would aggressively expand the rollout of CO2-refrigerant refrigeration units—which use CO2 as a refrigerant for equipment such as air conditioners—in the European market.

Panasonic aims to achieve 100% use of non-fluorocarbon refrigerants by 2030.

This technology is ideally suited for Europe, where regulations on fluorocarbon gases are particularly strict.

　エアコンに使われてきたフロンガス（代替フロン）は、二酸化炭素の数百倍から1万倍以上という非常に強力な温室効果を持つガスです。

　オゾン層を破壊する従来型フロンに代わり普及しましたが、その強い温室効果が地球温暖化の大きな原因となっており、現在世界中で排出削減やノンフロン技術への転換が求められていましたが、日本の冷媒技術は遂に、フロンガスさえ不要としました。

　もう、フランス人の言う、「エアコンは環境に悪」というのは過去の事実に成ったのです。

Fluorinated gases used in air conditioners (including HFCs, often referred to as "alternative CFCs") possess a potent greenhouse effect—ranging from several hundred to over ten thousand times that of carbon dioxide.

Although they were once widely adopted as substitutes for ozone-depleting CFCs, their powerful greenhouse effect has become a major factor accelerating global warming.

Amidst a global push to reduce emissions and transition to technologies that do not rely on fluorinated gases, Japan’s refrigeration technology sector has finally achieved a groundbreaking innovation that eliminates the need for these gases entirely.

The perception once held in France that air conditioners are harmful to the environment is now a thing of the past.
