　SNS上で危険なのでは？と指摘されているのは、JR大阪駅の「御堂筋南口」と「阪急うめだ本店」間の通路脇にある約58平方メートルの区画の処理方法。

　コンクリートの地面から、れんが状のブロックが不規則に突き出すように埋め込まれていた。

　22日夜には、「立入禁止」と書かれた高さ約50センチの黄色い柵で囲まれていた。

　大阪市建設局によると、最近は自転車の放置やごみの不法投棄が目立つようになった。

　ストリートミュージシャンの活動の場として使われたり、ホームレスの滞在もあったと言う。

Concerns have been raised on social media regarding the handling of an approximately 58-square-meter area located beside the walkway between the Midosuji South Exit of JR Osaka Station and the Hankyu Umeda Main Store.

Brick-like blocks were embedded in the concrete ground in such a way that they protruded irregularly.

On the evening of the 22nd, the area was cordoned off by yellow barriers standing about 50 centimeters high and marked "No Entry."

According to the Osaka City Construction Bureau, issues such as abandoned bicycles and illegal dumping of trash have recently become noticeable in the area.

It is also reported that the space has been used by street musicians for performances and frequented by homeless individuals.

　大阪市のこの土地の担当者は、転倒を誘発させる可能性を考えなかったはずはないだろう。

　これを進めた市職員は、相当に意地悪な性格なのだろうね。

　SNSでは、「このブロックに気が付かず、転倒した人を見た」と言った投稿も有るようだ。

　スマホ歩きしたりしたら、簡単に転倒するし、高齢者は視野が狭い上に足が上がらないから、簡単に転倒してしまいそうに思える。

　転倒により頭部の損傷等、大事にも成りかねない構造で、非常に危険だ。

　人の立ち入りを排除したいなら、周りをフェンスで囲えば良いだけです。

　不法投棄が有ったそうですが、この場所にかぎらず不法投棄に対しては、厳しく取り締まる市の条例を設定するとかで、全体がクリーンになるでしょう。

　市職員は面倒くさがらず、やるべきことをすれば良いだけです。

The city official in charge of this site surely must have considered the possibility that it could cause people to trip and fall.

The city employee who pushed this plan through must have a rather mean-spirited nature.

There are even posts on social media from people saying they witnessed others tripping over these blocks without noticing them.

It is easy to trip if you are walking while looking at your smartphone, and it seems highly likely that elderly people—who often have a narrower field of vision and difficulty lifting their feet high—would easily fall.

The design is extremely dangerous, as a fall could lead to serious consequences, such as head injuries.

If the goal was to keep people out, they could simply have enclosed the area with a fence.

Apparently, there had been issues with illegal dumping, but the city could clean up the area generally by enacting strict ordinances against illegal dumping—not just at this specific location, but everywhere.

City employees simply need to do what is required of them instead of trying to take the easy way out.

　

　これに対して大阪市町の発言が、また責任感の無さに呆れるばかり。

　強者による一方的な意見で、弱者の事は全く考慮されていません。

当該地は通路ではなく先は行き止まりとなってまが、人通りも非常に多く、交差点の奥にはバス停もある。

　活用次第では都心部の道路交通、歩行者交通に対し渋滞や事故などの深刻な影響も懸念されるため、安易に人を招き入れる構造にすることは安全上問題ですから、どうかご理解頂きたいと思います。

　加えて車両交通量も非常に多く、交差点の歩行者と車両運転手のどちらともの視認性を確保するためにも完全に塞ぐような構造にすることも課題が残ります。

The site in question is not a through-passage—it is a dead end—yet it sees heavy foot traffic, and there is a bus stop just beyond the intersection.

Depending on how the space is utilized, there are concerns about serious impacts on traffic and pedestrian flow in the city center, such as congestion or accidents. Creating a layout that casually invites people in poses safety issues, so I ask for your understanding.

Furthermore, vehicle traffic is heavy; completely blocking off the area presents its own challenges, as we must ensure visibility for both pedestrians and drivers at the intersection.
