　フィリピン沿岸警備隊の報道官は16日、「チャイナ・デイリー」がフィリピンを“アメリカと日本に操られるサル”のように表現したアニメーション動画をSNSに投稿したとして、「人種差別は許されない」と強く反発しました。

　動画では、フィリピンの伝統衣装を着たサルが、中国海警局とみられる船から放水砲を浴びる場面も描かれています。

　フィリピンのテオドロ国防相は、「卑劣なプロパガンダだ」としたうえで、「人種差別や脅迫に訴えることしかできない政府の弱さを露呈している」と非難しました。

On the 16th, a spokesperson for the Philippine Coast Guard strongly condemned an animated video posted on social media by the *China Daily*.

The video depicts the Philippines as a "monkey" being manipulated by the United States and Japan; the spokesperson stated that "racism is unacceptable."

The video shows a monkey dressed in traditional Philippine attire being blasted with water cannons from a vessel believed to belong to the China Coast Guard.

Philippine Defense Secretary Teodoro condemned the video as "despicable propaganda," adding that it "exposes the weakness of a government that can only resort to racism and intimidation."

　フィリピンのテオドロ国防相は、「人種差別や脅迫に訴えることしかできない政府の弱さを露呈している」と非難したらしい。

　我々日本人から見ると、醜い動画であり、中国人の矮小で歪んだコンプレックスが表現されてしまったのです。

　こんな動画を見て、中国人は喜んでいるのだろうかと、呆れてしまう。

　まるで、小学生の口喧嘩みたいでレベルが低すぎる。

　プロパガンダ動画だと、中国人は見るかも知れませんが、世界の眼には逆に中国の頭の悪い奴らとしか認識されないでしょう。

For us Japanese, this is a hideous video that lays bare the base and twisted sense of inferiority harbored by the Chinese.

It leaves one dumbfounded, wondering if Chinese people actually take pleasure in watching such things.

The content is utterly juvenile—reminiscent of a squabble between elementary school children.

While the Chinese might view this as propaganda, the rest of the world will likely see it as nothing more than the antics of a foolish developing nation.
